The Federation of Chefs Scotland |
 |
The Federation of Chefs Scotland (FCS) was formed in June 1994 in response to the need to have a chef’s organisation democratically managed by Scottish chefs. Our aim is to promote excellence in the industry in Scotland. We are members of the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) and as such give our members the opportunity to be part of a truly global network of Chefs.
The core of our work in Scotland is supporting and developing chefs through training and our commitment to culinary competitions. We do this through raising funds to support chefs on learning experiences both nationally and internationally. We also fund and operate the two Scottish Culinary Teams (Senior and Junior), who represent Scotland at some of the world’s most prestigious culinary competitions every year. We offer Chefs from all sectors of the industry the opportunity to take part in events to come together and to share best practice. In short whatever section of the industry you work in the Federation has something to offer you.
The Federation is a non profit making organisation and we use all of the funds that we raise to support the industry in Scotland. We do this with the help of a number of key industry partners and sponsors and we are grateful for their continued support. |
