The Gannet Swoops in for F900
F900 is ideal for new luxury St Ives boutique hotel
Carbis Bay Estate and Spa purchased an old disused hotel close to them in order to create a small luxury boutique hotel, named The Gannet Inn, which was to include a full restaurant. With no kitchen to speak of, a complete new build was required. Searching for the right equipment, owner Stephen Baker visited Hotelympia earlier this year to see what was available and was instantly drawn towards the Falcon F900 Series equipment.
Stephen commented “The kitchen at the Gannet is quite small, but we were confident demand would be high, so the remit for Hotelympia was to find equipment tough and powerful enough to withstand the rigours of a busy kitchen, small enough to fit in all the necessary types of appliances needed to deliver the menu and pleasing on the eye to fit with the overall style and feel of the hotel. Walking around the exhibition, F900 really stood out and we were delighted to find it ticked all the boxes.”
Working with local Falcon distributor Bartletts, a cookline of G9460 chargrill, G9181 solid top range, E9241 pasta cooker, 2 x G9341F fryers and an E600 rise and fall grill was duly ordered and installed.
Nick Lane of Bartletts added “This was the first time we’d installed the F900 Series and it went together quickly and easily. We were delighted with how the suite looked and how much capacity it has for such a small footprint.”
“The F900 has been in our kitchen for a few weeks now” says Stephen, “and it’s been great. It does exactly what we need it to do and we’ve not had any issues with it. We’re so pleased with it that F900 will be getting installed in our next project, the refurbishment of the Carbis Bay Beach Club restaurant.”
