FALCON PRODUCTS FOR A GREENER KITCHEN

Energy efficiency and lowering carbon footprint is becoming a key driver in equipment purchasing decisions these days and we’ve got a wide range of models to help operators on their quest to net zero.

Here's a guide to some of the most energy-efficient equipment we offer:

Induction

E3914iS.jpgWe're sure almost everyone knows just how efficient induction is by now. Instant heat, plate sensing technology, minimal wasted energy all contribute to make induction models the most efficient products you can buy.

With a wide range of products on offer, we've got the right model for your kitchen, whatever the demand, menu or budget.

Visit our dedicated induction page for more details on the benefits of this technology and the models on offer.

Electric Chargrills

E3625S-FS.jpgChargrilling is a very unique way of cooking food and typically would be done on gas-guzzling radiant chargrills that needed a long time to heat up and so tend to be on all day, with the result being lots of wasted energy.

Our electric chargrills replicate the great taste and brilliant branding of their gas equivalents in a much more energy efficient manner. Heat up times are fast (around 5 minutes) so appliance can be switched off during quieter service periods. These models are also very easy to clean, simply turn the elements up to full heat, which carbonises any debris, then brush clean.

Twin Pan Electric Fryers

E3845F2XP.jpgElectric fryers typically have faster heat up and recovery times than gas equivalents due to the elements being inside the pan so heating up the oil directly, as opposed to gas burners heating up the pan, which then heats the oil inside. On top of this, a big advantage of any twin pan fryer is the ability to only use one pan during quieter times, effectively saving 50% of the energy used by a single pan fryer.

Choosing a fryer with inbuilt filtration is another great way to increase efficiency in a kitchen. Being able to regularly filter the oil  quickly and easily, even during service, makes a huge difference to the lifespan of the oil, its quality and ultimately the quality of food being provided to customers.

Rise and Fall Grill

E600.jpgThe E600 rise and fall grill offers some great efficiency benefits. An automatic plate sensor means heat is only generated when a dish is placed under the elements. The infra-red elements themselves deliver instant, powerful heat and the elements can be manually moved closer or further away from the food underneath as per the wish of the chef.
