Falcon’s new Dominator Plus six burner range combines power and performance
Falcon Foodservice Equipment has launched a new Dominator Plus oven range. The new launch, model G3101HD, builds on the success of Falcon’s best-selling and award-winning G3101 range and is aimed at chefs who need a more powerful, faster cooking performance.
“This is not a replacement for the G3101,” says Shaune Hall, product development chef at Falcon. “Rather, it’s an enhancement – an alternative for chefs who need a bit extra from their oven range. It takes the UK’s best six burner to the next level.”
The performance comes from newly developed gas burners that are 30% more powerful than standard versions. In fact, each of the six burners can deliver 6.9kW. They are complemented by the large 7.1kW oven, which has a 2/1GN capacity and a temperature range of 120-270°C. “It cooks quickly and efficiently, so chefs can prepare larger volumes,” says Hall. “Bottom line: it’s a very muscular machine.”
The burners aren’t the only enhancement on the new Dominator Plus range. It also features cast iron pan supports that are bigger and harder wearing than ever before, able to cope with the toughest kitchen environments.
Practical and user-friendly features on the hob include removable drip sheds under the burners to catch any spills. Similarly the oven has a piezo ignition, which lights at the touch of a button, and a drop down door with full width handle, for quick access and easy loading. Five shelf positions give chefs plenty of loading options and the oven’s vitreous enamel finish makes it easy to clean. The design also features a high flue, which minimises the risk of food debris falling into the unit through the ventilation gaps. The range is supplied with legs to the front and castors at the rear.
The G3101HD is supplied with two oven shelves. Options include a splashplate, plate shelf, lift-off fry plate and a suiting kit. It measures 900mm wide by 820mm deep and, including the flue, 1100mm high.
